I strive to create personalized learning opportunities to help students succeed and become more invested in their work. Technology is instrumental to the success of our classroom as it opens the door to a limitless world of knowledge.
Inspiring students one door at a time!At the start of each school year, I put a quote on my classroom door to share the power of reading. In light of the pandemic, I chose this quote by Mason Cooley to show students that we can travel anywhere, do anything, and be anyone through books.

Home-Away-From-Home!My classroom is a home-away-from-home for myself and my students. I try making it welcoming and inviting by using lots of bright colors and exploring different seating arrangements. I want this to be a classroom where everyone feels safe and comfortable so learning can take flight!

My classroom is here, there, and everywhere!Creating a virtual classroom is a creative, fun, and consistent way to present materials to students. This practice started during virtual learning and is something I continue to do everyday. I enjoy customizing each slide with my Bitmoji to make it more personal. Doing this also makes it easy to upload daily lessons to Google Classroom for students who are absent and/or require a copy of the class notes.
